I started my customer service journey in 2011, several months prior to my graduation from DeVry University, where I obtained an Associate of Applied Science in Web Design. From 2011 until 2014, I worked in a customer-facing role, providing technical support to Web hosting customers while strengthening my skillset across various applications and technologies; including cPanel/WHM, DNS, FTP and domain management, SSH/CLI, server-side mail routing and management, POP/IMAP/SMTP and PHP-based software installation. The skills I gained during my time in Technical Support would be a springboard into my Web design career for the following 11 years, where I continued to provide direct customer support, but for Web design customers. This support consisted of creating and managing new websites, making changes and updates to existing websites, content-integration for large-scale websites in collaboration with WordPress developers, troubleshooting PHP warnings and other technical issues and redesigning websites when requested.
